Plank Log House Dig

Saturday Sept. 15, 2007

Visit the Plank Log House Dig in Marcus Hook on 'River Ramble Day' at Marcus Hook Park, Saturday Sept. 15th. This archaeology dig is one of the activities along the River. Bethel Township Preservation Society members will be dressed in period clothing at the Plank Log House. The resident pirate, Captain Marcus Hook, will be present! The historic Jupiter Tug Boat will be at the festival along with a pirate crew from Virginia. The Riverfront Ramble (held all weekend) is a massive, 14-mile long party and festival celebrating Delaware County's waterfront communities extending from Marcus Hook to Tinicum Township: food, crafts, music, boats, contests, concerts, fireworks and much more. This festival is free.
